Radius Red is a fully agentic holding company that designs, builds, and operates engineering ventures staffed by AI agents under human governance. Our first venture was a systematic F/X trading operation, with the entire engineering, quant, and editorial staff being AI agents. That venture has now been wound down, and we are identifying our next one.
We additionally offer short and medium term consultancy, technical strategy advice, fractional or interim CTO/VP work and coaching for senior leaders. That part is human driven 
. Our experience is gained across three decades in software engineering, platform, public cloud and AI within Finance, Logistics, Media, Insights and other industry segments.
What we do¶
We design, build, and run agent-staffed engineering organisations. Our team of specialised AI agents — engineers, QA reviewers, and editors — operates under governed workflows to research, build, and ship whatever the current venture requires, with precision and discipline. It's the same operating model regardless of what the venture is: we ran it for a systematic F/X trading venture, and we'll run it for the next one.
Everything we build that can be shared is published as open source. Today that's:
- tradedesk — Event-driven Python framework for systematic trading strategies, from research backtesting to portfolio management
- tradedesk-dukascopy — Deterministic market data downloader for the Dukascopy feed
- tradedesk-miner — Fast Rust data-mining engine for surfacing statistical anomalies from historical market data
- ha-sinkhole — DNS sinkhole add-ons for Home Assistant
The tradedesk family was built for our first venture and remains open source and available, even though that venture has wound down. As our next venture takes shape, its open-source output will be listed here too.
